We don’t have new official information, but we’re receiving reports of potentially positive movement. Multiple organizations are reporting that there may be imminent movement in appointments coming back online. Some orgs report being told directly by embassies to keep checking for appointments, as they should become available soon. Others report being told that appointments should come back online this week. There are very limited reports that new appointments have been made in a few countries.
Organizations are also reporting that existing appointments are taking place as scheduled, visas are being issued, and there’s no apparent variance in approvals/denials from existing trends that we’re aware of.
All of this gives me some guarded optimism, and thus we’re holding off for the moment on launching a Congressional campaign. But we’ll be monitoring closely the next few days and the proof, of course, will be in the appointments.
